Am I missing something here? I went to the LDS site but could not find any prices; do you have to email them for prices?
I realize he's a custom builder, but you'd think he'd have pictures of some basic (2X12, 2X10, 4X10 etc) cabinets and pricing.

It's better than that: you have to call them on the phone, emailing will get you almost nothing. 
Don's products are so custom that it's hard for him to post prices. He's not really interested in marketing a 'fixed' set of cabs. He really does enjoy 'starting from scratch' based on what the customer is looking for with tone, size, weight and performance. He uses many different components, from 'off the shelf speakers to his own proprietary Eminence designs.
If you spec a cab with expensive B&C drivers, spray on covering, etc., his cabs will be 10% to 15% below the boutique competition. If you go with less expensive components, his cabs can still sound GREAT and be very low cost.
Give him a call... he's great to talk to about design and tone goals, etc., and his prices and timing are right on (no surprises!).
Only potential surprise is if you go with the spray-on covering. It's the only part of the build that gets outsourced (at least it was when I had mine built about a year ago now), and is done by an automotive company. Since Don's not a high-priority customer for them, if they're really busy with other stuff, it can add a couple of weeks to the build - it did mine, but it's still worth it and I highly recommend it to anyone having a cabinet built. Looks great, durable as all get out, no "rat-hair", no ripping tolex, etc...
