Low End Jazz Megathread Part 2

Yep- I remember. It was at a club called The Baked Potato. Vinnie was cool. Glad he dug the show!

You are correct Sir. Several people have expressed interest in buying mine, and he is the first one to call me and say "Don't Do It." He loves the tone of my LEJ. Just curious, how did you have the eq set on your bass on that Philip Saisse tune. It was perfect. Also, what strings were you using?

I had the EQ like I do on all of my LEJs. I like the bass boosted just past the center detent and the treble at the mid point or cut just past the center detent. Pickups both on full.

Elixir Strings all the way!

Elixir's Come in Steel Now! It's crazy.... I use Nickels on every bass but the steels are something special... I might try and string up my LEJ's with some steels.. but no 6 string sets...

Hey LEJ fans. Jonathan Butler's new gospel album dropped last week. It's called Grace&Mercy. I played my LEJ on most of the record. Check it out on iTunes and enjoy!!

Lay my head on you, and I stand on your word are my favorites. Are you playing LEJ's on those tracks?

Thanks Dan, for the heads up, You and JB, remain two, of my favorite artists. Keep up your infectious groove work! You know there are double the blessings there also!

Man- thank you so much. I'm humbled... Really appreciate the support!

Dang that's a sweet looking bass! Your best bet is to email Brian and ask him directly. He somehow seems to remember everything about the instruments he's built.

I can't read whatever language the sale thread is in, but it seems there are references to it having the 3 band eq, which was only introduced recently, and a maple fretboard? As for the body, I swear I was once told that alder isn't an interesting wood to look at in the sense that it doesn't have the lines and circles of ash. The body seems to look like that, so I'm going to guess alder body/maple fretboard.

Hello to all Low end fan,

I' like to have your help to identify a LEJ6 that is for sale in my country.

The seller doesn't seem to know much about it so if someone could help me to determine the full specs of this LEJ6 :
Body and neck/FB wood, electronics, pickups...

Invalid Link Removed

Thanks

Looks like an alder body and a 24 fret board.
