I took my LEJ out on it's first rehearsal, I was cutting through the mix with a big smile on my face and my band mates were really impressed.

This week, I've been only using the neck pickup in the passive mode with single coil...
Playing through a MESA M6 Fathom, MESA PH 2x10 & 1x12, with Sadowsky Blue Steel 45-130....
Amp was set flat, tone on LEJ 50% = huge great P like tone. Drummer went nuts loving the tone and being blown away by the versatility of the bass.
Every day I have my LEJ, I'm more and more pleased with it!!!

I prefer them!!! Similar to DR HiBeams, not as "shimmering", pre-stretched and solid! Also, a 130 on 'B' string gives me a very comfortable and firm tension... I'm using the XL (for 35") strung through the body...
Any of the Zoom models are pretty simple to operate. But, if you wanna go "big boy" anything in the Akai MPC family.
To my LowEnd Fam, if you can, please give to the Red cross to help the people in Haiti. If I can hustle & save money to buy basses & equipment, surely I can support the relief efforts in Haiti. Peace! DigLo
as a Haitian-American I totally appreciate you posted this, as i have family that we have not been able to contact since the earthquake, Haiti needs our prayers my bass friends.

Played the new 4 and 5 string LEP's today at NAMM. They kill! I'm sure more info and pics will be coming soon. I forgot to bring my camera...duh.
Mark - Sorry I missed you! I was there and about! The LEP's are great, so's the 33.5" scale LEJ... I'm partial to mine...
