@Lif, nah I didn't play it. Brian was setting electronics up. Nothing better than being the first, so I'll leave that honor to you my friend.
@pacman, who said an soldier couldn't get loose! Play on playa!

LiF and TRBman I saw your basses at the shop today. You guys have "juice!" They both sound great.

Thanks diglo i'm honored that you saw and tried my future LEJ6 33",yes we have
lot of "juice"! and indeed they all sound great:bassist:
i agree with engedi1,the best slap tone ever!
remembering my first LEJ6 in 33",it was so awesome to play that i was able to do many things in my playing than with all my others basses before it,
this first LEJ6 33" is owned now by a very near friend:bawl:don't ask to me why just right now,it will be another story to tell you;)

Diitto Pacman thats a nice LEJ6, what are the spec's?
Peace & Blessings, Will

Ash body, quilted maple top with two-tone sunburst. Rosewood fb with pearl blocks. The goal was to make something cutting edge, but refined so as not to scare people when it came out of the bag on a country gig or something. I think it's the perfect blend of old and new, and it's an AWESOME bass!

SC's or DC's?
Thx, Pacman it is a Awesome Instrument, old school cool.

The walnut beast has partially arrived :)

Brian shipped mine in two parts due to postage size restrictions to Australia. How typical that the body arrives before the weekend and I sweat all day Friday hoping the neck will arrive and it remains en route. My girlfriend said it best when she said "So you will now actually talk to other people over weekend?" My answer was "Yes. But when that second parcel arrives you probably won't hear much from me for the rest of the next week". :D

So, with just the body to look at, the amount of skill, detail and craft in this instrument is jaw-dropping. I can't wait to assemble it and get playing.

I'm actually going to a Brisbane bass GTG today with some friends on Ozbass.com. I'll be bringing my other two LEJs so more players over here can get a chance to check out these great basses.

Checked out my LEPJ5. Brian hadn't put the pre in, but in passive mode it was killing. Didn't want to play too much, wanna keep the new bass smell going. LOL! My color is black on black with rosewood fretboard.

Took my LEPJ home yesterday, minus the knobs. Brian still waiting on them to arrive. Another great bass. I have seperate volume for P & J pups.I'm liking the the roundwounds on it now, but looks I'm going to put a set of DR flats on though.
