Lowest Priced New Basses Ever??

May I ask what was the price of the cello?
Are they still available?
I'm looking for an inexpensive cello for my grandson.
Looking on eBay, so far I haven't been able to find any cellos with such crazy-low prices.
It was 26 bucks... Comes with bow, rosin and case. So was the clarinet - it comes with case, reeds, cleaning cloth and cork grease. Both free shipping.

Frankly, I bought them just because they were so cheap and well, consumerism, I guess. I don't have any plans to be playing Bach on the cello... I've already learned it on the bass and I don't want to confuse myself lol. Depending on your location, I could send it to you when it arrives

I had thought about getting the cello and using it instead of an acoustic bass guitar as an acoustic bass guitar, but I missed it :( :)

Between mine and my wife's eBay accounts I snagged 2 blue basses and the black bass kit along with the green Strat kit.

I ordered one of the red precision's back before Christmas at the regular selling price I think they were 54 bucks or something and it actually was a pretty nice bass and was very playable after a setup. I really didn't like the big fat chunky neck on it so I bought a $35 red vintage tinted Maple block and bound neck and put it on there and played really great after that. Total weight of the bass was under 7 lb. It was a bit thin on the low end but the mid-range grind was very aggressive and growly sounding. it actually was nice enough that you could take it out in gig with it and not have to worry about it.

I said no more new instruments this year, and I just bought a blue P and a green Strat. The plan is to set them up and gift them. Damn you all, and this infernal thread.

I'm in Australia and it still says free shipping.
Posted a few minutes ago in the unboxing thread as well. Meant to do it here.
