Lowest Priced New Basses Ever??

did you order from robhe8875? i have ordered 2 basses from him and received no ebay email...

maybe, but this is the last thing reported.

i would imagine poor reporting from china post - i've experienced reporting from USPS twice in the last six months where they didn't track any movement on packages till after i literally received my stuff, when suddenly cays of info appeared.

since it often takes me over a month to receive packags from china, i was just commenting - i'm not worried about it.
No,from the other guy in L.A

I was going to ask but I see you ordered yours from a different seller than most of us.

The other seller, robhe8875, sent almost the exactly the same reply to me when I asked why I hadn't seen any movement on the tracker. Mine are coming from China so I'm not too surprised but I asked him to check into it. It has been 24 hours and still no reply. At the moment, he has nothing listed for sale.

Now I'm wondering if both sellers (daco5259 and robhe8875) are the same person. Their monikers even follow the same naming pattern. The drama continues.

Those of you whose orders are coming from New Jersey should be getting them relatively soon if all is kosher. My previous purchase from robhe8875, which shipped from New Jersey, took about a week to arrive after I ordered it.

once an item is shipped by a seller, they have no control over it.

it usually takes me 4 or 5 weeks to receive things from china (a couple times 6 weeks), and keep in mind that they're being hit by corona virus there, so that could impact shipping speed.

mine hasn't shown movement since the second

but that could be poor reporting, too. i've had a couple things sent via USPS that didn't show movement after USPS received the items until after i received the items; then all the tracking info suddenly showed up.

My bass arrived...... sorry.. too much fun here...

As much fun as it is to get an interesting bass to play and experiment (for CHEAP), the behind the scenes story is even more intriguing to me.

It's the mixture of contemporary global commerce and capitalism, literacy (how to tell if it's real or not, the deal, the item, the reviews), how world events influence all of this (coronavirus). I'm just so curious what is going on. Anyone else feel this way? The comments from @Mike Whitfield are really appreciated. I've learned a lot. Thanks.
If I had ordered one I would feel exactly the same way as you, but I ordered 2 basses and one guitar. Ouch

I've tried 4 different tracking sites (including eBay). Messages are: No shipping record, Logistics order created, Label Created - not yet in system and Tracking number provided. Last updated on 2/28. I ordered on 2/27.

I know things take a while coming from China and I'm sure the virus is affecting slowing the process even more. Whatever. If it eventually shows up, great. If not, oh well. I already have two of these basses - a fretless Glarry and a Burning Fire.

I've ordered plenty of stuff from China over the last few years, mainly electronic bits and pieces. The tracking information has ranged from great, to completely non-existent.

I've had items still showing as 'ready for dispatch' when they arrive in my mailbox. I have never had an order not arrive.

Delivery takes anywhere between 4 & 8 weeks.

So I'm not worried about my 'exquisite golden'.

From the description on the ebay listing:

To create faultless bass effect, you can not lack a professional bass guitar during guitar performance. This Exquisite Burning Fire Style Electric Bass Guitar Blue is just the one we are glad to recommend to you. Though it looks quite similar to the ordinary guitar, it actually is quite different from that one when it comes to function. Compared with guitar, it features thicker strings and larger string tension. And it is located on low-pitch site, which makes it perfect in sending out wonderful bass effect. Moreover, this bass guitar adopts superb wood and synthetic material, so you can trustingly take it back home for entertaining!
Comfortable hand feeling, stylish outlook, stable performance and melodious sound
I'm sold! I gotta get me some of that wonderful bass effect!

I've gotten lots of stuff from China too. I'm not familiar with the accuracy of tracking, however, because I don't think I've ever bothered to try to track anything. It's always just showed up. Sometimes, if it's been a quite while, I don't even know what's in the package until I open it. I do track stuff that ships from within the US.
