For me white was the best fit.Which choice in Pickguard...Black or Tort? Or is there another color you like? And why?

As one that has had tort on many a LPB bass, I agree.......... well, mostly. Lately I have been in the "Single ply matte black" pickguard camp. Sorry, no pic.I don’t know why but I think tort looks better on blue than anything else.
I agree. When you have a really nice base color like, LPB, you didn't need anything snazzy to dress it up.

Agreed, the Tort ties in better with the fretboard.Yeah, my wife likes the black better, but I think the tort works with the Rosewood fretboard more.
You both beat me to it. Anodized or cream. However, the black and tort are fine as well. The LPB is sweetly versatile.
Dang, J Wilson, that is beautiful with the white pups and matching hs.I voted BLACK (would kill with black hardware), but then, I like OTHER a lot as well . . . .

I always liked that look on Strats, Fender does a bass like that once in a while, but not often.Dang, J Wilson, that is beautiful with the white pups and matching hs.

I'm thinking maybe it's because it gives it an old school hot-rodded effect. Kinda like matte black stripes on a '68 Chevelle or something, lol.
