New Song: I'm thinking bookends for a concept suite much like Close to the Edge or something of the like, in which you start with an intro, then play through a "Main riff" type of theme, deviate from it into a different musical direction, and then return to the "main riff" theme, and then end it.
(In Close to the Edge, for example: Total Mass Retain's 3/4 rock rhythm, chant-ish singing, etc. goes into the synth covered, ornate, haunting echo of I Get Up I Get Down, then after an extended (epic) organ solo, we go into a short transition time, and then return to the original 3/4 rock and chanted vocals of Total Mass Retain during Seasons of Man to end the shabang.)
Fingerprints I
Down the twists and turns,
down the seasons as I learn,
the stars move side to side,
and they point me to the sky.
Across the line of sight,
from atop the highest heights,
the mountains voice aloud
why it is they stand so proud.
*Chorus*
Invisible to you and me,
but everywhere for all to see,
the Thing that holds my soul set free
is invisible to you and me.
And as I walk the line
between the space and time,
I see the hands of You
revealing all that's true.
Everything is tied
to the brighter other side.
And if we'd stop our panicked sprint,
We all would see His fingerprints.
*Repeat Chorus*
Fingerprints II
Sages say the river holds the answer,
and honestly, I must admit it's true.
If one will look beyond their sight
for understanding,
They'd see that nature points to You.
*Repeat*
*Repeat Chorus of I*
And as I look around
at the wonder I have found,
I'm watching oceans churn,
and I'm watching fires burn.
I see the hands of you
revealing all that's true.
And as I turn to face the day,
I see it in a different way.

The whole thing's concept is the idea of "general revelation" which is the thought that if one looks on the natural world with open eyes, and a mind that is willing to believe that there is a God, even if it's not sure, one will see the evidence in the perfect arrangement of molecules and atomic structures, the resilience of the human body, the workings of the mind, the delicate balance of the ecosystem that (when we don't screw it up) naturally works just ever so well, etc.
In short: if you aren't shutting the possibility of God out, you will find evidence (scientific and otherwise) of His existence and design everywhere all over nature, which can be considered God's fingerprints. Thus the name.
