LYRICS! DROP EM HERE!

I finished a concept album that I think will be our 2nd release once our first has made the market. (2 songs to go! Yes!)

the whole thing consists of:

Machines,
Take the Wheel (+Driving Blind)
Visual Aim
Clock Watching
Now [It Must Begin With You]

It's a concept album on the things that cause mankind to fail.

Putting too much faith in technology and being consumed with your pride.

Letting your emotions control you.

Obsession with fame.

Obsession with time and missing the little things in life that make it worth living.

And the final song is a call to action for this generation to change all the problems in society, including the above.

To find the other songs, search backward in this forum. This is "Clock Watching"

Clock Watching

Wasting days.
Counting clocks.
In control.
Vision locked.

Speeding freight train.
Falling weight.
Got to make that date.
Can't be late.
Defying fate.

Running rabbit.
Running to your end.
Leaving in the dust,
all your loved ones and friends.

Kids are growing.
Youth is fading.
Life is speeding.
Time is raiding.

Time is tired.
So are you.
Losing sight,
of what is true.
You've made it too late for you.

Wasting days.
Counting clocks.
Lost control.
The past is locked.
You can't go back.
Full of regret,
you hear the stopping of the clock.

(spoken voice) "What have I done?"

Now [It Must Begin With You]

Crying rivers hold no force.
Fallen heroes run their course.
Cowards rise when they are gone.
Weeping won't bring back the dawn.

A generation makes its path.
And the so far we've only stirred up wrath.
And love is gone, and where is God?
He's masked by cruelty, hate, and fraud.

*CHORUS*
But He's not gone,
and neither is the truth.
The choice is coming now's the time to shine our light.
We take the reigns, and it's true,
it must begin with you.

Dark horizons choke your hope.
The future's hanging by a rope.
Time is frozen, in fields of war.
What are we really fighting for?

But looking backward gives no life.
Your memories won't end your strife.
The rising of the world begins with you.
Lead it back to what is true.

*Chorus*

Now's the time of urgency.
Now's the time to act.
Now's the future's looking glass.
Now we see the facts.
Now's the time for praying.
What's now will shape what's then.
Now's just before what is to come.
Go out fighting if you can't win.

Now's the time to make a change.
Now's the day to live.
Now results, no more complaints.
Make legacies we can give.
Now's the time to learn,
from the errors of the past.
Now, the ship to turn around,
she's sinking far too fast.

Now Now's the time to counterbalance.
Now Now's the time to run.
Now Now's the day to reawaken.
Now Running straight into the sun.
Now Running straight into the sun.

Running straight into the sun.

first album? We'll put it through itunes and have hard copies available at our shows I think. Not sure how many to expect. Depends on how well word of mouth carries, how far 138 facebook likes can grow in the time between now and the release, and if we can get some local radio stations to play it. Once we release it, I'll tell you and ask you and several others on here to spread the word. ;)

True. However, how much is age, and how much is the spirit of a man who refuses to give up hope, and further, how much the confidence of his faith? I hold out hope because I refuse to see only darkness, because in even the deepest gloom, there is a ray of light that will always shine through, and though the chance is slim, it is worth a shot if I can make a difference in one life through some means.

Personally, too, I cling to Phillipians 4:12: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

My favourite Bible passage is Revelations Ch.13 Verse 18.

"Woe to you, oh Eart and Sea,
For the Devil sends the Beast with wrath,
Because he knows the time is short.

Let him who hath understanding reckon the Number of the Beast,
For it is a human number.
Its number, is six hundred and sixty six"
