But yeah, that one is pretty cool. Revelation is an incredible book, so rich with symbolism, and complex. I love something that makes me think. I love the book even more because it is the conclusion of the greatest story of love and heroism of all time: God returning to take His children home, and finally destroying evil once and for all, making both Heaven and Earth new. Whether you are a believer or not, that is an incredible ending. :cool:

Well, I guess I'm a Clairvoyant. You paint at all? I like to do Still Lifes. I also go for Long Distance Runs which get pretty Lonely...

But hey, this is about lyrics, not Another Life, so, come us Alchemists of the words, Journeymen one and all, the "lines are in your hands", so set them Running Free!

Here's a few lines I started on and gave up on (school, other songs etc.):
Sacred powers,
Blood-stained flowers,
A small boy cowers,
In the holy towers.

In the small hours,
He overpowers,
Scars, devours,
He is ours.


May or may not carry on with them, see if I have "the time to make everything right".

Long Distance Runs sounds like "Long Distance Run AROUND" and Lonely seems to be "Owner of a Lonely Heart". Alchemist is a song by Maiden from their latest album if I'm not mistaken.

Then again, they might all be Maiden. I have never been REALLY into them.

Yeah, I love stuff like "Two Minutes to Midnight", "Hallowed Be Thy Name", "Run to the Hills", "The Trooper", etc. I just never got that into them. My dad doesn't like them AT ALL. either, so I really haven't gotten to hear too much of them anyway. :p

I've had to stop with one of my bands for the time being. Nowhere to practice and the other guys (in the grade above me) are about to start exam prep. I'm just glad the other band is starting to really take off.

Here's hoping you get some playing time, especially with album plans!

while tracking 40 trips around the sun (I wrote on guitar and composed the lyrics and music)I was tracking some background vocals and had a break and wrote this tune on my Ric and its a very bass orientented psychedelic tune titled Slip into a Smile I will write first verse and end it Politics and the law you tell me what I heard and what I saw compliance complacencey has really got the best there is of me come in for a while slip into a smile make everything alright anytime of day any time of night make everything alright come in for for a while slip into a smile make everything alright any time of day any time of night This song is in F# and actually the engineer pulled the lyrics and the music is my theme music on my cable access show and the lyrics were published as a poem so this song has been a winner for me plus I played all the instruments on this particular tune so its a great song but when I track with the band everything sounds more like it could be released
