I'm in the market to get a single cab that I can carry in one hand for upright gigs (that sounds good pizz and arco). I have a realist pickup and intend on getting an amt down the line. I am also going to be buying a focus IIR. Is the Whizzy M line more appropriate, or these CM 208s?

Wizzy 10
Yes, unless you need more volume (in which case the NM-208 or M-line Wizzy might be the trick), I'd second this recommendation. The 4 ohm Wizzy 10 should do fairly well, volume-wise, especially for it size.
One thing to remember is that the Wizzy 10 is 4 ohms so you'll need something that can handle two of them (e.g. Focus III)
Yea got that....and the Focus III seems to like 4 ohms a lot better, louder more open..

Well not many of us have heard the 10 yet so it's hard so say but the 10 is certainly small and light which is a factor for many of us.

From my also somewhat limited opportunity to hear the Wizzy 10 at NAMM, I'll comment that they seem to sound very different. The Wizzy 10 is more open, precise and clear sounding, and the Wizzy 12 is still very clear, but in a more warm, slightly vintage way, with a certain midrange punch (but not in a humped way). The M-line Wizzy sounds a bit like a louder, deeper, hybrid of the two.
Again, this opinion is based upon more limited experience, and should be taken with a healthy grain of salt. Furthermore, I reserve the right to amend, withdraw, or reverse this opinion once opportunity for further review presents itself.

Check out the Rat stand Jazz stand. I have one and like it a lot. It collapses quite nicely.

I don't think you'll go wrong with either of the Wizzy 112's. They're great cabs and very practical. I got my Wizzy from Jive Sound. http://www.jivesound.com
I'm not sure how much I'd recommend it, but I'm using a Petersen music stand. Very lightweight and folds up to a very small package that goes in a shoulder bag. Could be a little more sturdy though IMO. http://www.petersendesigns.com/
I'm sure it's not the only place, but it looks like you can order an M-line Wizzy from Bob G. Scroll down toward the bottom of Link Removed page. Although it doesn't explicitly say "preorder" like it does for the Wizzy 10, note that it does say "expected to begin shipping again in the first quarter of 2007." You can also specify 4 ohm or 8 ohm.
great! I'm also interested in a new bridge (as mine is warping a bit). What's a good upgrade (adjustable). I'm thinking about checking out Bob's bridge with the full circle.

i went to guitar center in nashville today and tried the markbass head (little mark II) with my bass. Granted, it was through a markbass 2x10, but I thought it sounded awful. I have a realist pickup, so I'm starting to rethink that set up, but all I managed to get was pretty nasaly, easy feedbackish sound that I'm used to dealing with. The VPE (which I assumed was a notch filter, which worked great to control feedback, but still was a pretty unrealistic sound.

that stand is incredible, but $129 is some serious money man. It seems great, I just might have to hold off on it though.

Isn't the Focus III head over powered for the Whizzy 12? Why not just a clarus? Bob reccomended I check that out because it's more affordable.

Strings however are another matter.
See this insanity and even more insanity and what seems like ancient history. This will clarify that strings are a big ole can o worms for me.
Suffice it to say that at the moment I am enamored with my Gut D and G and still in transition on the E and A. This is subject to change as I have demonstrated in the last two years of discussions.
The one thing I'm sure of is the Full Circle. I've never felt the need to move away from that even though I've tried much of everything out there.

Depending on the bass the Realist could potentially become a bucket of mud with the Wizzy M line 12, however I'm pretty sure bribass uses the realist-Focus 2RIII-Wizzy Mline 12 and loves it.

Just for kicks, your bridge might not be permanently bent. If you have the nerve, you can try what a luthier showed me how to do.
Take a small hammer or mallet with a rubber head. Stick the head of the mallet in between your A and D strings, and with light to moderate force, tap the bridge back into a straight up position. Use your other hand on the opposite side of the bridge to keep the bridge feet from moving while you do this. I find I have to do this every once in a blue moon when the top of my bridge starts to tilt up (toward the scroll), usually after I've changed strings and have gone through a lot of tightening.
Getting a new bridge esp. if it's adjustable is not a bad idea. Just thought you might not really need to replace your old one.
