Here is a video from 2009 of Cheap Trick. Note the Hofner Union Jack bass (Cavern PU spacing) on a stand behind Tom Petersson. Guess he had this finish three years before McCartney!

Paul's my fav. If I could come up with bass lines that are half as good as his I'd be more than happy.

As far as his voice...call it a bad day or age, but the man can still sing better than I ever could.

If you've seen any of Pauls shows recently, he has a tight band and has for 20 years. The gentleman that plays the synth, also plays guitar, accordion and a variety of percussion instruments. He could hire an orchestra, but why? He already has his team!
