'made in USA' Peavey Grind? Info required

Here's a picture of mine with a little better resolution that was taken shortly after I received it. Someone had added some gold Dunlop strap buttons which have since been replaced with with black versions. I really need to spend more time with it. Playing it today just reminded me of that.....

The sticker method is something that is much more common on G and GV basses, as they probably couldn't indent the graphite necks without damage, so it's uncommon, but not non-existant.

Well, Peavey customer service is pretty much non-existent isn't i!

I've sent them a couple of emails, and seem to just get single sentence answers, no pleasantries, and no answers.

In my last email, I put as much detail as I could about the bass, including pictures of it, the serial number, and the push/push pot. The answer I received was this:

'You might try mojotone.com for the pot part as our guitar tech of 35 years does not recognize this circuit. Sorry.'

Very helpful..... I've sent a suitable reply.

It's normal. They are no longer in the instrument making business, at least here in the US. It's been several years since they have been. I wouldn't sweat it.
