In '97or '98 I was onstage and some local a$$hole wannabe on the front row decided he needed to twist my tuning keys on my Charvel 3B. I reached out with that bass and popped him in the forehead with the end of the headstock. I realize this is a sweeping generalization but within the hierarchy of any band, in order of who would be most qualified to deliver said azz-kicking, bass player is second only to the drummer.

I think that I would go G&L LB-100. It has a heavy ash body with a 6-bolt neck joint. It just feels solid. Either that, or one of my Yamaha BBs.

I'd grab the Squier Jazz. That sucker is heavy.
