Maple Fingerboard Love!

Those are the best looking DP's I've ever seen.
Thank you. The 5 was my first and is still one of the best basses I've ever owned. The 4 was my second build. I've had to dress the frets and replace the nut, but it is a phenomenal bass as well. Unfortunately, since he retired from building, I can't find any way to contact him. He was always helpful and upfront with me.

Wish I had a better representation of the flame figuring on the Precision’s fretboard, it was an easy sale after I saw that.

Here are four of my home-built basses, two with maple boards. The zebrawood bass has a medium-scale Warmoth fretless neck, and the walnut bass is a short-scale fretless with a neck I built. I love maple fingerboards for fretless!
