Maple fingerboards!

My fretless 300M, 375M with Bart Mk1s, and my new SR800. I love maple boards on basses and on Strats/Legacys. I like the feel, I like the snap, and I love the look.

My '99 US 494 Deluxe w/Duncans. Was my main gigging and recording bass from '02-'11. Now used as a backup (my main player is my US 44-60 w/rosewood board). This bass has hundreds and hundreds of gigs on it. At one point the fretboard was extremely dirty. I finally cleaned it up and you can see the nice bird's eyes on it.

I just love them.
Do you have a bass with a maple fingerboard? Show it!

Here's mine:

I bought my bass right here in The Netherlands. Someone I trust told me that "Fender orders from this Japanese factory whenever it suits them. These MIJ Fenders are then made mainly for the Japanese market, but every now and then a container of the stuff ends up here".

Well you could have asked, on the other hand I could have said what it was in the first place. I've modifed that post.

I actually meant to ask, but the thread was already 7 pages long - I hate it when people post without at least skimming through what has been posted - but by the time I got to the end I had forgotten my original plan...
