It should be no surprise that Marcus Miller does a great demo. The man is not just an artist, he is a scientist of bass as well.
It's about time! There were some very suspect demo videos by amateur-level players when they first hit the market.
This is not only a great demo, it's simply inspiring to watch. The guy is a national treasure, and proves it conclusively on a bass that costs six bills.

Marcus has always been a great fingerstyle player, and if anyone has no need to prove he has thumb chops, it's Marcus Miller!

Very much so. It's refreshing to hear a professional musician explain – without a teleprompter – the genesis of a signature model. Here, he did it deftly without denigrating his previous relationship with another major manufacturer.

Marcus is a nice guy...was really cool when I met him at NAMM in '09. Best vacation ever!

Some guys come off as smug, unappealing. He comes off as a great person, the kind you'd wanna have a drink with. Great review with a good personality to boot.
Honestly, a lot of professional reviewers could take some lessons from this video. Really great job.
I'm familiar with the bass and I'm familiar with him but I just watched the whole video and damn he sells that bass. I honestly didn't really want to one till just now.
