Markbass 151HR Alone

is the markbass 151HR a good cab to be used just alone for small gigs (100-150 people) and rehersal?

If you can find a good deal on a used one I'm sure it would be fine, but for $700 there are better cabs.

Heck yeah. I have the 151P model and it does fine. The HR sounds even fuller, so I hear.

Well for almost half the money I can name something that would be as good and probably better, the Carvin BRX cabs. The 210 is only $399 and is the same weight as the Markbass. If you get the neo it weighs even less.

I heard Bundy Cenac of the legendary funk band Mandrill last week using 2 BRX10.2 neos and a BX500 and it sounded killer!! Total cost $1200.
