Probably cheaper options out there but it's a very well made bag. I think Mooradian is the company that makes them and you may try contacting them and seeing what they'd want to make on for you.

...or you could just get a Mooradian gig bag for your bass. The F1 will fit in the front pouch of that!

er... yes and no. I have the use of an LMII right now. I did
buy an F1 but brought it back. I'm using the LMII for free,
so I'll use it till I need to get something. When I do, it will
be the F1. I like it more than the LMII.
To be honest, the LMII/Berg Ht112 is a very nice combo.
Much more volume than you'd think from looking at it.

Yup, I use my LMII/Berg HT112 for many, many gigs around here. From the way Wilby described the F1 though, my interest is piqued.

I tried the F1 briefly but I liked the LM II better. The F1 is great if you're already a fan of solid state, but I'm not. The LM II is great even if you don't like solid state. It is the very first solid state amp I like better than the SVT.

I tried the F1 and LMII through my Bergie HT/EX112 stack. The LMII was a bit fuller sounding in the lows and had more of a sweet, almost tube-like presence through out the Frequency range. The F1 sounded fast, clean and solid state by comparison. Not bad. but once I did a direct A-B comparison, the LMII just had an overall presence the F1 could not match to my ears. The LMII sounded better. (IMO/to my ears/your mileage may vary) :D Gary

+1. I know I sound like a broken record, but it also is about the 'mix and match'. The HT/EX112 stack is quite mid present to my ear, and a little compressed in the low end. So, the slightly wider girth of the LMII really sounds great with that stack. However, with my HT210s/HT112s stack, which is super wide with tons of low end extension and much more attuenuated upper mids, the F1 sounds better to my ears, since the tighter inherent voicing and the slightly more aggressive upper mids seem to provide a good match for the voicing of those cabs.

That being said, the LMII sounds pretty darn good with literally everything I've tried it with. The F1 and especially the SD800 can range from amazing to 'OK' depending on cab and bass. IMO.

It's very hard to go wrong with the LMII!

Hello! Wilbyman likes it better for DB also, and I also find it's my favorite head with my Mouse. Pretty cool that MB has all these different flavors!!! I think your Berg HT110 is probably more similar to my 's' cabs than to the HT112. Is that correct? I think the HT110 uses the large tweeter and the hi xmax drivers like the larger HT's. So, that makes total sense to me!

:D I am! Wonderful instrument, especially given I don't play DB. That's as close as a slabber is going to get!

Yeah, if it uses the big square horn, then it's probably the same 10 that I have in my HT210s or that was in the HT322 (or similar 10 anyway). Nice!

It's the same horn, though I am not sure about the same 10" driver. The HT110 is deeper, wider, and more open sounding than the HT112, which is more focused and punchy in the mids, by comparison.

+1... which follows the same tonal profile as the larger HT's with those big horns and hi xmaxers! Those are the cabs that sound quite unique to me versus anything else out there.

My guess is it sounds like a slightly punchier HT122s... probably slightly less low end, a touch more mid mid due to the 10 and smaller box. Is that what you are hearing?

hey guys...all my friends are here today so i wanted to pop in and say hello! I think most people would be somewhat underwhelmed with the difference between the f1 and lmII but you guys are all kinda ocd so i think you will all hear quite a difference :)


Fwiw, the footprint of the f1 is slightly bigger than the focus2 and it will not fit in the ai bag (or at least the one i have).

That's not far off. It definitely has more in common with the HT122s than it does with the HT112.
