Markbass F1 Pricing

It would be so cool to walk into a gig with gig bag and single cab. ...With the Bass head in the gig bag pocket! (If the F1 would fit) How cool would that be.

That is what I thought. It does fit into the pocket of my Mooradian gig bag and that is what I have done. It is just so hip. I have actually been throwing it in a messenger bag with my real book though. :hyper:

The unusual combination of a class A/B power amp with a switching power supply seems to give the LMII a unique combination of 'warm and fat' with extreme light weight. So, the slightly smaller footprint of the F1 due to the Class D power amp isn't that interesting to me. However, I'm looking forward to checking it out.

I assume the F1 is closer to a 'smaller SD800' than the LMII, so it makes sense to me as a new product. I also makes sense that it would be higher priced... as posted above... small usually means higher cost. Now, if that figured out how to put the SD800 in a box the size of the LMII... THAT would be something!

I just bought a new F1 yesterday and have been comparing it to my LM II, so far they sound virtually identical with the LM II sounding, maybe, a tad bit warmer, not enough to make one say the F1 is a different sounding amp. :eyebrow:
