I too have a NANO. I love the thing!Yep my LMlll gave out also after about ten years... After trying many amps I settled on the Markbass Nano.... couldn't be any happier...

Could be defective component on one of the boards. Either trash it or sell for parts.I've been down this road with LM… If you're gonna pay for troubleshooting save time and money by letting them deal with it at the repair facilityy which might still be in Ca.
The 800RB is small and light compared to your SVT.

I emailed Geoffrey and he replied "call VST" then sent another email confirming they have the parts to fix it
PS; This was for Combo Head out of CMD 121P comes on at low output and now takes 20-30+ minutes to come up to normal output.
I was considering getting a backup amp and another Cab NY 121P if needed for Gig's coming up.
So when the problem worsened [at first a simple off/on switch fixed low output on startup] I bought another [used] CMD 121P and now can use Cab from other one for Gig's [if needed] So solved extra Cab but now I am considering fixing problem amp for backup use or when they close out Nano's when new version is ready get one

There seem to have been several 10+ year old LM2 / LM3 going south with this fault recently. I'm hoping it's because they've all been used heavily during this time and not a particular component failing simply through age. I've got several Markbass heads all of a similar vintage that I gig in rotation to hopefully get the most from them but I'm getting a little nervous now. /-:

I dont. I have two Ampeg 210AVs. As I said, I do have an SVT but it needs 4 ohms and these are 8 ohms each so when I use that amp, besides it being heavy, i have to use both cabs. I have a gig on Friday that is a pretty tight area and I was looking forward to taking my LMII and one cab...now I plan on using the GK (if I get it in time)
My LM3 had a ton of use. I thought it would never give up the ghost.
I can tell you that my LMIII saw a ton of gigs over the ten years I had it...It payed itself off and then some...I'm extremely happy with my NANO at the moment but im always keeping my eyes on the lookout for a older LMII or LMIII that's in good shape...
Slight derail to the OP but, I got the GK in today and totally forgot that its Speakon Connectors (or the GK connector) only! I remember reading that and it went straight out of my mind. So, Im going to have to run to Guitar Center to either pick up a couple Speakons or maybe Speakon to 1/4" adapters. Ughh. My own fault but wish the GK had both like my LMII.
Update...so i ran over to the local music store and bought a speakon to 1/4" adapter and it doesnt work! Works great in my LMII but Im guessing this is a different type. FFS.
I bought a Little Mark II in 2009 and it hasn't done me wrong until recently. About a month ago a band I worked with in the early 2000's called me to fill some gigs that their regular bassist couldn't do. On the gig last month the amp dropped out during a song, I turned it off and back on and all was well for the rest of the night. Last night we played the same venue with no incident. This afternoon we had another gig and it died in the second set. Fortunately a local bassist was in the audience and lived very close to the venue and went home to grab one of his amp heads to help us through the gig. Blessings to Tim. Thanks to tips from this thread I found that the fuse in my amp had indeed blown. I'll replace it and see if there are any more problems. I'd hate to think that this excellent amp is history. Will keep you all informed.
