I just got a LMII as well in a trade deal. Played it today in practice with my Carvin LS1503 cab. Holy cow... I've finally got the sound in my head. That combo is simply amazing. Inexpensive, light weight and sounds better than most of the rigs I've ever played through. Good stuff!

Sounds very different form the EBS410. The 106CL is tighter, louder, quicker and fatter through the midrange. And 9 kg lighter..The SD800 has incredible headroom, no problem there. I will post a review when I have done some more testing.

The Micromark will not be available in the US until 2008, and pricing has not been set yet.
The Minimark will be available by the end of October. PM me if you want the price.

The SD800 bag (which also fits the TA501, TA503, SA450 and R500) is vented and it's designed for the amp to stay in it during use. It's also got backpack straps and a pocket for cables, etc.

The head in the combo is the same as the Little Mark II, so if you want the head, buy the head... if you want the combo, and the flexibility to add an additional 8 ohm cabinet for a 500W rig, get the combo.

What combos allow you to remove the head inside it?
Haven't heard of that before.

Did a little more testing today, I got the 104 and 106CL cabs, SD800 amp and Sadowsky 24/5 , Fender CCL 5 and Fender jazz 4.

106CL: Very even, thight and thick sound. Incredible responsive and quick. This cab is also very loud and punchy, and more aggressive. Great for rock, but I had no problem in dialing in a very good slap-tone. Very small for a 610, tiltback design makes it easy to move. But no side-handles..
104CL: Also thight and quick. Very warm and more open sounding, with a little more top end when the horn was engaged, but that can also be just that the upper-mid is not as thick as in the 106 cab. This must be one the lightest 410 cabs out there?

I`m very impressed with this cabs, they look and sound great,
but with a little less low-end that I`m used to from my 104HF cab and other frontported cabs I`ve played.
Both cabs are loud and punchy, and without the horn engaged I was able to get a very vintage-like tone, even with my digital SD800. My basses plays like butter with both cabs, sweet top-end..
Bot are extremly portable, but I do miss side-handles on the 106.
The 106CL stays...

Someone said it was possible in another thread. I was skeptical and rightly so I guess. FWIW there is the Mesa scout combo w/removable head.
