If I was going to move away from my combo with 115 extension rig any time soon, I think I'd be looking at a pre (certainly I'd consider MB for this) with a Berg IP112, and later an EX112. If Jim B starts making IP cabs with neo drivers to get the weight down, I don't think I'd be able to resist. [/derail]

But the Momark looks a cool concept, nonetheless. I just "made" the maximum power digital amp with the high-end tube pre and the four band, two semiparametric EQ. That would be something rather special, methinks.

I went with high-end tube pre, graphic eq, and LMII output with the 500w analog. Went with the graphic because I usually just use my filters for my tone, and I figured the graphic would be best for fine-tuning for different rooms or whatever.

I guess Markbass is coming out with powered cabs. Alain Caron is going to have a signature model.

Anyone figured out what size these chassis are? I'm guessing they're standard 19" rackmountable, but I'd like to hear for sure.

Ha!!I mentioned that someone should design a bass amp about 6 mos. ago w/modules to switch out,if desired,after seeing the Kirk Hammet designed signature module amp he has out.This one will probably push me to pull the trigger on a more "hi-fi" bass amp than my Eden WT-800.They read my mind.

If the prices are nice, I'd love to play around with a setup like this. Kinda funny they have two solid state preamps that seem identical except for the addition of a mute button on one I wonder how the "Hi-End" versions of the preamps differ sonically from the standard options.
