Markbass Super Synth software connection

I got the Super Synth from eBay, it works fine by itself, but I can't get it to connect to my MacBook. I clicked SYNTH/OCTAVER as specified, reset the pedal power and restarted the Mac, bought a new USB cable and tried it with multiple resets, tried a different power supply. Finally bought another eBay Super Synth, same issue; no connection to software, but works fine on its own. Has anyone been able to get theirs to connect and saved modified presets?

Don’t have mine anymore, but years ago, I got foiled by the software. The editor application on my Mac had a tab for the Super Synth, and a tab for some other pedal, maybe a chorus. The editor did not know which pedal was attached, and I had to select the SuperSynth tab for it to work.
Oops, just reread your post, sounds like you covered this already. Good luck.

I have a PC, and last used the desktop editor several years ago. It worked pretty well then. I was recently thinking of changing some presets, so after practice today, I'll hook it up and see if it's still working.

I know this is an old stream but I have been having this issue, I’ve had a couple versions of the pedal, V2 right now, I thought maybe before it was the The pedal that was defective somehow. I contacted Markbass and they told me the editor is only compatible with computers that are 32 bit, will not work with 64 which is what everything is since like 10 years ago. So basically it’s totally useless for modern operating systems. I asked them if there was any work around and didn’t hear back.
