I started this thread, but hey, have at it. I'm not on facebook, but have fun.I just created a new FB group (Master Effects Pedals Owners Society) for ME pedals owners (name nicked from this thread). I think it will make it more easy to post pedal demos, gear photos etc., in general audio/visual material. (trying to make a video currently with my setup).
If there are any objection about the initiative and/or name of the group let me know, I can always bring it down if the majority objects, don't care about FB shenanigans et al, just in it for sharing more info on the pedals themselves. Else join if you wish!
P.S. @Sensei Tim of course your saying has priority![]()
Indeed! Unless you want to skip it like an elevator.Ok, as long as you're giving out numbers, I might as well take one (Super 300 too). Does that make me lucky 13?
Nah, I’m down… 13, yeah!Indeed! Unless you want to skip it like an elevator.![]()
You got it!Nah, I’m down… 13, yeah!
Hah. I forgot to respond to that... but now, the pedal is actually back in Tim's hands to work out an issue. I'll have to do a photo when I get it back!Cool! #11. Let's see the pedal.
I just ordered the SF 72 and as noted there's not a lot on it here.I watched Hondo's YouTube demo and was knocked out by the pedals tone possibilities.I have owned and played through Peavey amps going back to my heyday. Some guys got real interesting sounds from the Festival 800 most notably Death from Above 1979's Jesse Keeler..So in the year + since this post how's the 72 been working for you? Can you impart any wisdom on it? If so that'd be great! So not much interest in the SF 72 around here yet? Color me surprised, the SF clips I've heard have impressed me the most of all the ME drive pedals. Surprised because I've never been a fan of Peavey amps in general...but that SF 72...wow.
The only thing keeping me from snagging one is the fact that my recently acquired Super 300 is giving me the best sound ever. It's retired all my other drives, even my beloved old BDDI, which I thought I could not live without. Color me impressed.![]()

I'm interested in a Super 400 as well. There does not seem to be any around though.I don't have one. The Super 300 is still staving off any GAS for any new drives at this point, though I' wouldn't mind trying a 72. Been casting a lusty eye at the Super 400 lately, but the 300 is so good that I feel I'm in a really good place with it, so...
