I was using a Broughton FX Loop pedal to blend in the S100. It has an adjustable LPF on the wet side, so I was able to dial out most of the white noise and leave the delicious crunch intact.

Of course, stacking them together sounded pretty great too!

I can't wait for the 100 to come out - i've always been a big fan of John Wetton's tone during the '70s King Crimson (where he used a HiWatt 100), and from the video's so far it looks like the 100 is pretty similar....
btw I asked Tim to swap out the pot on my super 300 to give it a wider sweet spot - he was awesome enough to do so, and it really makes a huge difference in the usefulness of the pedal - way easier to dial in that edge-of-distortion setting.

I'm with you on the S100. I'm an old John Wetton fan myself from his stint with Roxy Music.
I like the look of this new 800 Plus. Almost makes me wish for a SF72 Plus, although I don't know what would go on it... maybe add XLR DI? distortion is on its own footswitch?

the three switches are bass shift, treble shift, and bright.
the small knobs are for the 7-band EQ: 40, 100, 250, 625, 1560, 3900, and 6600 Hz

First gig last night with the Super 800. Worked out great. The house bass amp was an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500. I ran the 800 into the FX Return and never touched anything on the amp itself. Initially got a really bad honk. I figured something was getting overdriven, so I messed with lowering the 800's boost and boom, gone.
Very nice.How much similarity exist between the tones of the 400 and the Super 300? I own the 300 and it has become a mainstay.
