I’ve been looking at these for awhile. Finally pulled the trigger.
Wonderful build quality... the tone is like a modern J. it has 18mm spacing though it feels a bit tighter, I love it. Why in the world aren’t the Jabba’s gettin more love stateside I don’t know. These are “player” Basses, that are made to last.

Very Nice. Yeah, I think I want one of those.

As to why they don't get more love, you don't exactly see them in most music stores...unless you live in L.A., Chicago, or New York.

Saying a simple "gorgeous" would be an understatement; first thing that comes to my mind is... weathered. Not the ugly kind though -- more like a small wooden shack in the mountains that appears beaten & worn from the outside, but is surprisingly warm and welcoming inside. Nice understated ramp too! Gongrats! :thumbsup:

I love that they used a spruce top on these. It’s very responsive I don’t know if that a psychological thing. But it’s got a warmth and a snap to it. Anyway...

The closest boutique bass store to me carries this maker. At the time I was in the market (2 years ago) all they had were the proprietary neck through designs (“Patriot” “Viking”etc.). The sound and playability were top notch and the electronics were right up my alley, but the weight was not low enough. I wound up going with an 8 pound Maruszczyk instead. I loved the neck profile, though. It definitely had a “tighter “ than 18 mm feel, I think the taper/skinny nut width had a lot to do with that, as did the small fb radius, although your fb looks pretty flat. Really superb axes. Congratulations!

I’ll just say regarding the 18mm bridge spacing. I’ve owned more than a couple of Smith Basses. And this 18mm feels way different than a Smith’s 18mm. I appreciate your comment on fingerboard radius. Was not really aware how it could affect overall feel. It does feel tighter and again I love it. I do notice how a lot of these are in the 10lb range. For me anything over 9.5lbs is a no-go. This one is a hair over 9lb.
