Measurements of rumble 500 not adding up

I took my measurements before I found the rumble wiki.

The rumble wiki states that with all knobs at noon, the response looks like this.

My measurement looks much more flat. I thought it was scaling , but it isn't.

What's REALLY throwing me is, ALL my other measurements line up to the wikis graphs.
The eq boosted or cut and the bright, contour and Vintage switche graphs all look almost identical to the wiki posted graphs. They do what you'd expect when a knob is turned or button pushed.

This is what I get all knobs at noon using either pink noise or sweeps. Thats a big difference from the wiki reference. I used the fx send just like they did. All knobs at noon on my rumble is electrically flat. The only thing I can think of is they tested an order model or fender changed the built in eq curve. Both the wiki and I used the fx send to take the measurements.

If so, there are guys in the rumble club that think the knobs at 10/2/2/10 is flat. It is definitely not on this unit.

Here , the blue gragh represents direct monitoring before the signal leaves the computer.
The pink gragh is what I get back from the cab with all knobs at noon.

I wouldn't make a big stink about this, but there are many guys that think you need to put the eq at 10/2/2/10 to get flat and I'm not seeing that.

There is a little downward slope in the response, but that's just the way pink noise presents on a graph as you can tell by the unmolested blue gragh in the last Pic above ^^^^. That blue gragh is the noise generator followed directly with an analyzer.

Something is off somewhere. Either the wiki is outdated or fender changed something.

Or you are incorrectly measuring it.

I can say for sure that your graphs are incorrect.

All the other measurements match. The slope is slightly downward, but I can change that to flat in the settings.
Why would 1 measurement be off and the others 10 measurements not? Serious question.
Bright, contour and Vintage for instance. The blue line. The pink field is irrelevant here.

Don't be mean. Tell me what I'm doing wrong so I can correct it. I normally wouldn't even have bothered measuring in this way (or more specifically woth this equipment, but my measurement equipment is out on loan) but I wanted to see what the buttons were doing and this gave me a good approximation. The scaling isn't a zoomed as the original charts , but when I scale it up and adjust the slope in the soft ware, I get almost exactly the same response graphs.
I posted in the one thread after correcting scaling, I could see a 5 or 6 db dip at 500hz with everything set flat but not the big peak in the upper mids. I corrected myself there.

What exactly is your measurement test chain, both software and hardware? And what is your calibration procedure? I used to post a lot of RTAs on TB quite a while back, but eventually concluded it was pointless unless others could readily duplicate the results, FWIW.

Given how many people have measured Rumbles as not flat (I have also done circuit simulations that agreed), the likelihood is that your amp is not flat - you just aren't measuring it right. Frequency response measurements are something that, to someone not skilled at it, can be challenging.
 
I replicated the results in the Wiki on my Rumble 40 just last year.

My chain: Monitor out from Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 v3->Walrus canvas reamp->Rumble 40 instrument in->Rumble XLR out-> Focusrite-> HolmImpulse software.
 
I’d be willing to bet a kidney that OP has not measured it properly. I’ve played through probably a dozen different v3 Rumbles over the years, and every single one has/had a vicious mid scoop when all knobs are set to noon, regardless of model or cab size.

The odds that this one amp somehow has a different baked-in EQ to every Rumble out there seems exceedingly small…

No body reads. I have stated multiple times that after adjusting scaling there is a mid scoop at 500hz and my results are similar, just scaled in a way that makes it look more flat than it is.
 
Try just using your ears to get a tone you like.
I do. I wanted to know exactly what the buttons do (bright, contour, vintage) So I measured to see.
This isn't about tone. I just like to see.

If i had my laptop om hand with my measurement software this likely wouldn't have even been a thing. I just used what I had on hand which was a pink noise generator and spectrum analyzer.

It makes anyway not much of sense to measure any response with a scaling of 10dB/div.
At the other hand side, measurement tools are very cheap these days. Thus nowadays nearly everybody who wants to fiddle on toys can afford those tools, well, and everybody is allowed to ask questions in forums...
