Meatbox reissue, huh?

I just plugged a filter in after the meatbox. NOM!!! Sorry to keep rubbing it in guys, but this thing is effin sweet! So tasty. I'm gonna have problems not wanting to use it haha. And there is surprisingly quite a few different settings I could use it with. I thought it'd be a one trick pony type thing. But it's really not. You could actually use this as an octave pedal. It's not the most conventional octave, but none the less, it'll pull off some cool, more regular, octave sounds.

@gregmon79 what kind of settings are you using on your Meatbox and for what? I haven't had time to mess with it since I got it lol.

Also, did you use the BEF? When I had my Density Hulk it was tough to hear the Keeley Neutrino I had with it, I figured a digital filter might be able to do something better with the subs.

Ive got mine. Its pretty crazy... Awesome but dont try getting a great sound out of a practice amp.. no gonna happen lol. Test it out on your rigs, carefully, itll suck the air out of a room. I think this pedal is at its fullest when used through a PA. Im just saying it sounds best with some power behind it. Itll work in your practice amp, but wont take everyones breath away like through a PA. :)

Yeah, through my amp and cab it's deep and wall shaking but I'm sure through a PA it would truly shine.

Idk where it would be best suited in the chain honestly. I've got mine before my main board. On its board, the sister board, I plug my bass into the whammy > rails > JTDT (fuzz)> meatbox > ms60b > the main board. Which has the tuner first.

So again, not sure. I tried the meatbox before everything on my sister board yesterday, but I didn't dig it that way too much. So I put it back to where it was, the way it is now. It's still pretty early in my chain. I like it where it is right now. So I've got fuzz before and after it. The whammy and fuzz into the meatbox are pretty flippin awesome! I still haven't come to a solid spot for the octave on the meatbox. It's tough figuring if I want more clean bass or effected, fat, synthy bass. Guess it depends.

I just got mine today but I won't get to try it out because of work and other duties til Sunday most likely. I'm going to put mine after my fuzz so I can use the Y splitter cables everyone including the Digitech Rep recommended on BestBassGear.com. That way the unaffected signal goes to amp and then all my other effects like the fuzz will go through the effected split into the D.I. to the FOH.

What exactly is this "Sucking Air" out of the room feeling? Is it just massive air movement by the subwoofers?

I think I need to get one. Do you have a link to BBG for that splitter by chance? I know there was one posted here but that's a lot of posts to go through.

Is it that one at the bottom??

EBS Cables- Best Bass Gear

And how would you hook that up??

The end that has both wires goes to your Meatbox, then the "Tip" and "Ring" wires are the two outputs. From the Meatbox manual it looks like "Tip" would be the wet/effected signal and "Ring" would be your clean/dry signal.
