Meet Grace, and her bass

Dont know how I missed this thread, but all I can say is "WOW!!!"
Blessings to you guys for making this little girls dreams a reality.
Let us know how the surgery goes!!

Just an outstanding story. I'd love to offer to buy her something but it seems like she is going to have more than she can get through for a while!!!!!! Man, it would be great to find some other kids with a desire to play that we could chip in for. So many people on here are more than willing to buy gear/send materials/etc. for a kid like this. When I consider that I just bought 3 basses in a weeks time (that is a tombowlus week right there), I'd love for my next purchase to be for a kid in need!!!

I'm sure you could find one, get around the town and see what you can dig up...there must be a church rebuilding, or a Jr. High school that would LOVE to have a bass...:)

The look on Grace's face in those pics is priceless. Just a lovely thing for Embellisher and Bassic83 to do.

I am moved guys, and am subscribing to find out how Grace's surgery went on her back. My son has a double rod in his back for Scoliosis too.

God bless you both and little Grace too.

Al
:bassist:

As does my son. (He has a single rod in his back.)

She looks like a blessed, happy, and determined young lady. Hope your son is doing well as well.

Be blessed my friends!

I haven't talked to Embellisher for a couple weeks, but he said that Grace was having some complications from the surgery, but is working them out. He was supposed to start working with her the day after I called him, but she had canceled...I think I got that right, can you confirm, Embellisher? She is digging in on her own, though, from what I hear, and just hearing that makes me happy! :)

Keep on fighting, Grace- you'll pull through!

Amazing. Simpy amazing. Ill bet anything that as all of us were reading this, we quit thinking about the war, gas prices, etc. just for a moment. :smug:Nothing else really mattered, except that a few great people changed this girls life. I may be speaking for myself, but I honestly hope not.
