I don't know about that, it's not that hard to play the octave stings or the root strings by them selves, with an 8 string and some pinky muting I can play songs like the Peter Gun with out a guitarist.

Is this non-doubled/tripled strings? If so, someone search for "NAMM" in Basses for the picture of that Adler 11 string.

The only thing that vexes me about that Adler is why it wasn't made headless. Seems like it would be textbook definition of neck dive.
