It's been a strange old day. I was roused from my slumber this morning by one of my neighbors screaming in the street outside my window.
At first I thought it was just someone passing by in a vehicle, then it happened again.
The second time, I thought it was a cry for help, so I had to go look.
I didn't really know what to do, as the guy is deaf as a post, but there he was howling away in no particular direction.

I was outside in the warm Spring breeze (80F today) playing bass & the gal next door was making such a racket kicking her BF out that I felt compelled to come inside.
I always knew she's a mouthy one, but she put the capital T in Trash today!

I broke out the tube amp once I got back inside & started to feel a little better. That tube amp sounds so great, I'm not even sure why I felt compelled to buy the Aguilar.
Anyway, I feel better now!

I don't think the gal next door does, and she's probably wrecked her relationship with everyone in earshot.
On the upside, at least the BF's mother (or whoever it is) will stop shining her damn headlights into my window at night when she comes to drop him off for a shag. She leaves the engine running & the lights one. Inconsiderate people make me angry, and you wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

I'm sure plenty of us feel better after playing bass, but what kind of things get you wound up that you need that therapy?

I am constantly surrounded by inconsiderate people. I am working on fixing that by doing more school so I can change careers again.
At least my neighborhood is reasonably quiet. I'm probably the loudest one around when I crank up my amp to a reasonable volume.

the new owners where i live hired a meth head to remove the blight from the property. this a-hole leaves his tractor running for hours while he makes a dozen little piles that he never removes. i have had it out with him a few times. he'll show up after dark tweaking and wants to drive his tractor around pretending to work. i literally lost my mind one night and chased his ass off the land, lol.

I saw some A-hole yesterday go into some minor road rage with a bus. He stopped in the middle of an intersection with the bus behind him until the light turned red, then took off. I felt like throwing a rock at him.

Idiots who ride around my neighborhood with those new strips of LED lights on their trucks that put out roughly 4.7 billion lumens.

Idiots who ride bicycles at 35 mph three wide in a 55 mph zone and flip you the bird when you go around them.

Idiots who walk three wide very slowly down grocery store isles.

Idiots who stop their carts in the middle of the grocery store Isle for over a minute and then act like you're a jerk for saying "Excuse me".

Idiots who are late for work and hold you up from getting things done.

And that was just today!

That, and people who do not accelerate to fwy speed before merging into traffic at the end of the on ramp. But any lack of turn signals annoys.

Lots of things make me a little ticked off, but the last meltdown I remember having was brought on by an inadvertent case of nicotine withdrawal. It had to be that because I have a pretty high tolerance for douche bags, but that day I sure didn't.
