I've slowed down over the years, but try to go to a show every month or two. This month is Danzig & Doyle with Corrosion of Conformity. Looking forward to that one.
My favorite show, ever, is still Slayer, Anthrax, and Megadeth at Red Rocks in 1991. I was 15 years old and it blew me away. I arrived an Anthrax fan and left a Slayer fan. IMO, the high point of their career.
Others... Foo Fighters a few years ago at Red Rocks. It was their first time playing Red Rocks and you could tell they were stoked on it. I was 3rd row & it was awesome.
Rob Zombie both times I saw him. One of the greatest showmen in rock.
Archers of Loaf in NYC. I never got to see them back in the old days & was super excited to see them in NYC a couple summers ago. I was worried that it wouldn't live up to my expectations but it exceeded them.
Neil Young at Wells Fargo Theater... Nothing special about the venue and it was about 5 years ago, but I went with my dad and had a great time. The sound was fantastic.
Green Day a couple years ago. We sat far away and it wasn't an awesome show, but it was my son's first concert and that was awesome.
Bands that I've seen a few times that always rule... Dinosaur Jr, Supersuckers, Mudhoney, Hot Water Music, Slayer, Mastodon, Hot Snakes, Rocket from the Crypt, High on Fire.
