Meris Enzo Synth Pedal

I had to record more sounds ... I love how this pedal adds another dimension to the bass....

Dropbox - DNB SYNTH.mp3

@_Angelo_ once I get my midibox , can I assign all the controls to a Midi controller ?
How difficult would that be ?

I’m pretty new to Midi , how difficult would it be to assign settings and controls to a Novation launchpad ?

Thanks for the demo, some pretty cool sounds in there.

Assigning MIDI should be easy. There’s a list of all the CC mappings in the manual. The launchpad appears to be buttons only - you may need a controller with knobs/sliders. There are cheap iOS apps that have this functionality such as Knoblab.

I want to use the launchpad for presets ... later I’ll see for controls

Another great track!! I like how you use Split mode for some parts.

Yes, every control in the Enzo has a MIDI CC. As @Quatschmacher mentioned, just check the online manual on our Enzo product page.

I haven't used the Novation Launchpad, but the Enzo uses standard MIDI PCs and CCs so most MIDI gear should work just fine.

@Quatschmacher is also right about using phones and tablets as midi control surfaces. They really work well for that. On our Meris MIDI I/O Youtube video, Terry shows how to connect with your phone using a MIDI Bluetooth adapter (under $50).

If you can map multi
Yes, just use Mono mode and set the Modulation all the way to zero.

Cool. Is that true single oscillator or two oscillators stacked and exactly in phase?

Ok I watched the MIDI I/O video. This is wild stuff. I have questions:

Is it possible to load an app on the Apple Watch to change pedal presets? Game changer if that can ever be done - imo. Doesn’t even need full parameter control, just a basic preset switcher.

Let’s say I am on my iPhone creating presets and saving them. Is that unlimited presets? Also, if I change a parameter on the iPhone and bypass the knobs, what would happen if I then turned a knob? Say I had a knob at 9 o’clock in the phone, would the physical knob default back to 6o clock if I touched it? Just curious how that works. I love the iPhone app control. Makes saving presets so much better. Especially if you stumble upon something and dont want to lose that sound. Plus it shows more knobs so you can learn the pedal faster.

Is this a pretty stable setup with Bluetooth and Midi? I think its really cool, and would be awesome live, or even in studio.

Also, are there any preloaded templates for TouchOSC that work with Eris, or do we have to make one?

Technically, this is totally possible. However, I'm not sure if there is an app for the watch that controls MIDI over bluetooth.

Yes, you do get unlimited presets this way, but the app you are using needs to be able to handle MIDI Sysex. Simple program changes (PCs) are used to recall a preset inside one of our pedals, but sending and receiving full presets is done via MIDI Sysex. Totally possible though. In fact I do this exact thing every day to back up presets I like to my laptop. Every time I come across a sound I like I just store it on my laptop. Really handy. Now I just need a better way to sort the hundreds of sounds I have. :D

Both are active at the same time, so last one you touched (knob or tablet) wins. And yes, having all 12 knobs on one screen makes it very fast to dial in a sound.

Totally stable once you have it set up. I have no issues, and I've used both the Yamaha MD-BT01 and the Quicco mi.1 Both are great, available on Amazon, and are just under (or at) $50

I am not aware of any preloaded ones. Making them is pretty easy once you get going.

This guy is a hero. He is using a Bluetooth MIDI adapter with the Meris MIDI I/O to control all four

Ok this is great. Does touchosc for iphone handle midi sysex?

Also how long until you get more midi io in stock? Everything out of stock is torture. Lol.
