I wondered the same thing....this guy is hunting for a studio to pick this up from him I bet.

The evil empire (GC) has two listed in their used section. One comes with the foot switch, thought about picking it up...... But I have pretty well tapped my music funds with a new bass/cab/amp.

I'd been considering selling my Buster head as I have the 2x15 combo and have a 300w tube head for larger venues. I took it out this week with Sixpence to make sure I was ready to part with it. Nope. It's going nowhere anytime soon! It just sounds too good!

I have an Aguilar TH350 micro head there on the ground as a backup in case something dies during the show. Believe it or not, that tiny little box is louder than the Buster and sounds great too (different, but better in some ways...)! I actually use it on large stages once in a while & it more than does the job.

The Buster is an amazing sounding amplifier! I'm not surprised you had a change of heart.

I replaced the EV-15L with a Kappalite 3015 and I am stunned how great it sounds.
BONUS --the weight of this combo has went down from 2 tons to 1 ton.

It was rehoused. It came out of the 210 combo. The previous owner did the rehousing after he pulled it from his 210 combo. It's a little taller in height compared to the original buster heads. This is my favorite amp at the moment.

Here's a few more pics. I had a question about my Buster. My amp overdrives at about 3/4 volume and I was wanting to get more clean headroom. I have some Tung Sol reissues in the preamp section and some Mesa 6L6 GCs in the power section. Is there maybe a problem with my preamp tubes? It is a very nice OD tone, but it seems like if wants to start breaking up early.

Mine's one of the original heads. Do any of you Buster owners transport it in a flight case or something like that? If so, what kind?

You can cover any song live without securing rights. (Whatever venue you perform at is supposed to pay a blanket licensing fee to a performance rights organization like Ascap or BMI.) However, if you want to record and sell your recorded version (as we did), you have to secure permission from whoever owns the songs publishing rights. (This is often, but not always, whoever wrote the song.) In our case our record label at the time, Warner Bros, secured this permission. The publishing holder negotiates whatever financial compensation they want.

A couple of years ago 6p played in London & the writer/singer/original artist of the song actually came to our show and hung out. He seemed pleased with our version and was a cool hang! (He certainly profited financially from our cover!)

I love this amp! Had it rehoused a few years back, I'm never selling it. It's an integral part of my sound. Paired with a sealed cab ( I've used this PF210he, 410he, Berg NV610, etc) it's pure smoove booty bliss.

Takes pedals like a dream too!
