Mesa/Boogie Club?

There are 2 Rhythm and 2 lead channels; four independant channels, thus the Quad. The Rhythm section is where your ultra-smooth "clean" tube tones are realized. The lead channels are where you would attain the overdrive tones. The E.Q. section of the preamp is defeatable. When you set the four channels you can have four completely different sounds that are all very unique. Engage the E.Q. and tailor it even more. If you want that 400+ tone, it's in there. If you want to expand on that, go ahead the sky is the limit. The quad is the most versatile tube preamp made, period. I do not knock the 400+ though it is my favorite amp of all time.

These pics are not scaled the same, but you can see the differences. The quad, I believe is an expanded version of the Mark IIc and the Mark III combined.

Is it all footswitchable and stuff? :)

Yes it is footswitchable. Most of them use the FU-2 footswitch. Some use the FU-2a or FU-3a.
Here is a pic of the back. Some models have a MIDI function, mine does not.

Well I've been playing a Henry 8x8 the last 3-4 mo's actually, and it's been a while since I played those Mesa cabs. Few years at least. But, they were very nice. I never had any complaints at all. If Mesa made a lighter "big" cab, that's what I'd be playing instead of my Henry.

lest just say its that sound in your head. oh, and your gut when the master is past 3. the 400+ is all ill ever want for an amp, and hopefully ill score this local sale of twin 410 roadready cabs... yep, ill get pics if i do. maybe a soundclip for ya!

i want a number in this one!
