Mesa/Boogie Club?

I set the 12" controls to 4k crossover (sheen) and set the horn attenuator at about 11 (slight high cut). The 15 gets set at 5k (normal) and the horn atten. just a bit more cut than the 12. As you might guess I don't like a ton of snapping tweets in my tone.

The tone is huge with the added girth and grunt of the 15 and its larger passive radiator. Really does exactly what I was hoping it would do, add a LOT more air push/pants flap for bigger gigs and just fatten up the lows and low mids compared to the Scout all by its lonesome... which is saying something as the combo is no slouch in the lows end dept. I also pulled the Walkabout head and used the 15 by itself on a recent gig and really liked that as well. The Walkabout combo concept offers players a lot of possibilities in a small package for sure.

happy to do the review. Like I said, I used the Powerhouse 1x12 (or the Aggie GS112NT occasionally) as the extension for about 6 months and was pretty happy with that combination. But the Radiator 15 is just what the bass doc ordered for this old school tone player :bassist:

I don't think anyone is going to voluntarily organize this club numbering system. (so I'll try)
(I think ::Saint:: should get #1 for coming up with the Idea and starting this thread.)

From there, we could just assign our own club member numbers by simply using the post #
that's already printed on all post in this thread. (anderbass #2... Neatobassman #3... etcetera.)

I think this is probably the easiest, most fair and trouble free method.
Anyone else have any input, better Ideas, or know how the other T/B clubs set their order?

No, mine is new; and yes, usually you have to order them new.

I actually stumbled upon a new deal gone bad at a retailer. While I was looking for either new or used, I ran into a situation at a retailer where someone had ordered the 15 but backed out of the deal. I was just in the right place at the right time to grab it I guess.

Talking to both a local retailer, and Mesa artist reps directly, it seems as if Mesa builds these extensions in very limited lots, primarily to fill orders already placed. So they are hard to find just sitting at a retail shop.

Ha yeah no kidding! I might even meet up with that guy from NC when I'm in Tenn in August just to check it out.
However I'm eying a sweet Powerhouse 1000 which I think would still do just fine.

While I don't support the fascist club regime, I will say that I really enjoy my RR 4x10, and usually keep half an eye out for them in the classifieds, as a second one would be killer. But, nobody ever wants to ship anything over a 2x10.

To date, I've owed a Powerhouse 1x15, V-Twin rack, and my RR 4x10.
