Well I got my PH210, and used it last night for the first time with my 115 on the bottom.. love the sound coming out of these two cabs! Thick and meaty. As it happens, when I went in to pick it up, I happened across a used Fender Deluxe Jazz (MIM), black with a tort PG.. exactly what I'd been looking for, and it was a good price.. so I rented it to see how it plays and I have to say I love the sound coming out this bass with my rig.. I'm selling my ATK to buy the new bass..

I took a picture of the whole works and I'll post a little later..

I'll take a number just got this baby today and its amazing I love it.

Just scored a Powerhouse 210 at GC today for $214 out the door. It was originally $450 but my buddy that works there called me this morning as soon as he got to work, and told me he got a new list of clearance items for this weekends sale and new I was interested in the cab. Best deal I have ever gotten there.

Used to have a blackface like tht.
I bet that sounds f-i-n-e!

It sounds incredible!!! Now I need to find a Powerhouse 115 to go with it. The head is a 64 that I got for a steal and was used on some Stax recordings so I'm told. I am so in love with it as well.

Hey Hitch....I'm jealous !!! Seriously Congrats! That's an unbelievable price. How do you like it?

By the way I thought GC discontinued selling Mesa bass amps a year or 2 back. I guess not.

I absolutely love it! Your right, GC doesn't carry Mesa bass stuff anymore but this was bought from a local bass player who brought it in to sell. They originally paid $500 for it, and even the manager was surprised that they paid that much for it. They wanted it gone and slashed the price big time. I am so happy right now.

Question for everyone. I am ordering a M6 Carbine 2x12 combo and I wanted to know that if it was possible, that if sometime in the future I wanted to remove the head it could be done.(meaning with the combo does the Carbine have a head casing or is it just kept in the cabinet)(and will I destroy the Cabinet by removing the head)?

Four screws to remove the grill/faceplate assembly and four more to remove the head from the rack brackets.
There is no head casing as it is the rackmount version inside the combo's cabinet.

Spare 2-3 space Gator or SKB and you're good to go.

No you will not destroy the cabinet by removing it from the combo.

Cheers,

Thanks that is good to know. When I said "head casing" I meant chasis, because some combo's I have taking apart, the head is just a face and the workings of it are actually inside the cabinet, that was mainly what I was wondering. It is good to know that I can save money by buying the combo and come out with a good head and a seperate 2x12 cabinet.

Well, change is the flavor of life. It looks like I will be trading my titan for a Bass 400+. I'm really excited to get back to the basics. I had a Bass 400 (non plus) before, so the 400+ should be something new and exciting, but still familiar. It has the 12AU7 mod so it has more clean headroom which is always good in my book.

Hmm I have a technical question for you guys. I just took my walkabout out of my scout combo and I want to run the scout cabinet with a different head. Problem is the built 1/4' that is coming out of the back of the Scout isn't long enough to even reach a head sitting on top of the Scout. How would I remedy this problem?
