Yeah, same here (kind of). I use 3 Berg 112ER cabs (1 HT and 2 EX's). All 8 ohm cabs, so if all 3 are hooked up I get a 2.67 ohm load. I know plenty of people have run down to 2 ohms without issue, but my guess is that the 2.67 gives just a bit more safety factor, and the WA through 3 12's is pretty impressive. Honestly, most of the time I don't need more than 2, regardless of PA support. But IMO those particular cabs make very good use of the WA's power. I personally think they're a perfect match up, because the cabs naturally push out a ton of low end for their size, so I find that I'm able to dial back the lows which leaves more reserve juice for the all important mids. Has anyone else run this combo and found the same thing?
Conversely, while I've never tried a sealed cab or something like a Schroeder with a good bit of low end rolloff, I would guess that since someone who wants more end would have to dial it in, I would expect the WA's power section to tap out much more quickly. But, that's purely a guess of course.
