SirDugh brought his NV610 over.
It's big, it's heavy, and Walkabout+Pbass+NV610 really maximizes P tone.
Totally not my thing, but it works really well.
This is my rig, and it slays!

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll have to see if I can find one of those to try out. The weight is not a big deal, I'm mostly concerned with the width and depth. Besides the sound the thing that I liked about the Bergs was that the width and depth of the 112 of 212 are the same so I could stack them for a 312 setup. The only thing I don't like about them is the price.
Does anyone have any other speaker recommendations for this head? I need something with a smaller overall footprint than a full sized cabinet. I like a lot of punch with tight lows and not really any high end sizzle.
Possibly frowned upon but have done so in the past with no signal to noise issues (with older SS MI amplifiers); couldn't find amp input impedance in the manual though
-- but whether you ought to advertise this as a solution to an issue because *you don't hear S-N issues with your particular bass, FX, amp setup and your particular listening skills* is questionable.
I've received a lot of sound information here. We should all return the favor.

FWIW, I'm not sure I read that as an accusation, but rather, just a statement that just because a given scenario seemed to work subjectively, is no assurance it's a generally safe practice. I tend to agree with that. That's completely out of line to imply and an accusation made without any foundation.
It is very possible that 2 bass guitars could be connected to a single input jack on a MI amplifier without impedance issues.
If you have technical specs that show otherwise for the amp in question it would be helpful to post them.
Ahh, read right past that. I hear ya.It was the "listening skills" statement that is over the top.
Got a gig on Feb. 5 and bringing the Walkabout out with my 2 GK NEO 112 II's. Really looking forward to finally gigging this rig with the band I bought it for (only have used it so far filling in with another band doing a totally different type of stuff).
