go to a mesa authorised service center.
about $150.

i'd be surprised if mesa will replace a speaker "on principle" without guitar center or some other authorised agent hearing/checking out the unit first.

The 1st WA cab I ordered (net purchase) rattled on low D. I discussed it with the retailer and they arranged the swap (although they never saw or tested the unit), charged me for the new driver then credited me for both driver and shipping when Mesa received it.

I guess I'll pass -- I keep thinking I can find a smaller amp so I don't have to tote Mr Mesa (Walkabout? Puh-leeze -- you have to CARRY it!) around so much, but (as I told another local bass player) "EVERYBODY knows a heavy bass amp is better than a light bass amp.":D

The WA with any bass is pure magic, but the WA with a P-Bass is pure sex! :bassist:

Maybe consider a small light 4 ohm cab if you want to change things up now and then.

But the Walkabout is so small and light as it is! I know it's not class D amp small, but it is by far the lightest and smallest head I've owned and not much heavier than a bass...I'd be afraid to accidentally misplace some of those smaller amps!
