Yes, the M-9 is quite wonderful. I am currently running it through a 4/10 ampeg classic, which is louder and oddly lighter than my monster swr workingmans I've had in battle for many many tours of duty. Once one of the speakers blew and my old faithful trace elliot had some blown output jacks, (which are surprisingly hard to find) I decided to save up and get this. So, I am still trying to find the sweet spots with the rig. All power issues aside, it is a monster, even through 4 / 10s. I find the i have been using the #5 setting which seems to annoy sound guys everywhere. I play in a worldbeat/ reggae/rock band which requires a tremendous amount of bottom, so maybe the 4/10s are not the best idea. I really like the 2 15 set up someone posted an image of. WOW.
I may try lowering all my lows to achieve a better stage sound. ( I don't like the sound of that for the record)
Does anyone else have issues with loud drummers? I can use the power of M-9 to quash him, but then I sacrifice our stage sound. (10 piece band) Any EQ ideas so I can keep a great tone, and still have enough volume to lay it down?
Thanks
I-bassie
