Mesa Subway D-350!

So far loving the sound very much.
Dear Agedhorse, master volume knob doesn't do anything when I'm using the XLR direct output to my interface. Looking at the manual but I don't think it is mentioned.
This is correct, the post eq DI out is pre master volume. If you look at the block diagram at the back of the owner’s manual, the signal path is shown.

Think of the DI as a separate supper high end stand alone DI Box or Rackmount unit, but it is enclosed in a great head.
Set it for what you are plugging it into, Mic or Line Level and adjust volume on what it is plugged into.

My Mesa D-350 arrived today. Playing straight through an SW210 for the last hour plus. No pedals yet. The Factory Sample Settings are a good place to start to learn the EQ sweep. This thing is solid. I like it very much. Pleasing grind and grunt out of the box. It’s going to cut through a mix nicely. It’s small enough to put on a pedalboard with a couple of other boxes too. A mini pedal rack with a 350W amp on board. Plug and play.

May I ask....why? I'd rather run Speakon directly down to cab, and power cable directly to power, than have additional cables running back from my pedalboard. I'm accident prone enough as it is. Unless you mean a board sitting on your cab.
I wasn’t clear. Yes. Speakon to cab. I want to stabilize the amp and whatever else I have on top. They’re all too light. Then store it all mounted on a Pedaltrain snugly in a case for transport. Cable management goal.

Try these settings too.
High Master, Low input, and cut EQ goes well on this amp. Agreed, the manual's settings are good.

I was preparing a post about USB-9v adapters for Subway amps. The generic I bought off Amazon raised the noise floor of the pedal. Any recommendations?View attachment 5089827
The Birdsong seems to work well. Many generic adapters can be noisy, some very noisy.
