Mesa Subway D-350!

Seems like a good/smart Idea: if you need DI volume better if amp had separate volume control for DI
My experience is that a nominal mic and line level switch works out better in practice. No DI out complaints often can be traced back to di level controls turned all the way down.

I hear you; once I went to play and turned volume up no sound; started troubleshooting then noticed I was turning up DI Level control not Master:)

But having DI post Master should be a nightmare for FOH Engineer is what I was expressing Pre Master is the smart good Idea

Generally most post eq DI’s are pre-master volume. Yes, there are exceptions but fortunately not many at the pro level where it matters most.

Hello! Been hunting for a head to use with my PJB C8 for a bit now and have been considering the 350. I'm wondering if anyone has any clips with the amp set to overdrive. All the demos I can find on YT are with the input set to 50% or below and I've yet to see that o/d light turn on. I play my Traynor SB115 with a Bass BB Pre set to a hint of grit. Wondering if this can get me into that territory?

Thanks.

@agedhorse

Can the feet on the D-350 be removed? I don’t know what they are screwed to inside the steel case.

I would like to use Velcro to mount it flat on a pedalboard.
Yes. Put the feet and screws in a plastic bag so you don’t lose them

I usually put stuff like that in the side pouch/spare compartment of the amp's carry case/bag.
When I'm good about things like this (which, historically, has not been often), I'll put for-now unused parts in a ziplock bag with a note ("spare mounting bracket - Flux Capacitor") and put that bag in a drawer dedicated to such stuff.
I prefer to put it in a place so clever and original that not even I can find it.
This, though, is my usual approach.

As a long-time Chef's admirer and FB friend, I had to get this amp.

Playing only through headphones tonight. But I like how easy and quick it is to get a good tone out of this tiny head.
Good design and engineering!

Every time you use that bright switch, remember to give a little nod to Chef!
