I have a d350 that fits my needs perfectly - no fan, plenty of power, sounds great. I use it for playing in the basement alone or with the stereo

Had the D800+ for a couple years then went to the WD800 for a couple years then went back to the D800+ in 2022 and it’s a keeper.

Main is now the 800D. Was using the 800+ but now is a back up.

I have all of them except the 800+, but it's the Bass 800D that's getting used most of the time these days (my vote).

The TT, WD, and D350 are all favorites but I would be perfectly happy with just my D800...or any of the SW heads for that matter.

WD-800 is such a cool Amp, if it had a voicing knob, hmm..Had the TT, but only wanted it for the boogie, so sold and moved on to the 800d.

The D-350 is the Mesa head for me. Compact, dead quiet and plenty of power.
The EQ section is very reactive and the Voicing control is icing on the cake.
Build quality lives up to Mesa standards.

I wanted a Subway head when they first came out, and then wanted every subsequent model that came out afterwards. I got my first one last year and it is a D-800, and I absolutely love it. I don’t feel it is missing a thing. The only feature I prefer that comes on the + is the HPF, but I have a dedicated always on pedal for that.
I have had an M9 Carbine for years, and found I was often getting great tone bypassing the graphic eq and compressor. So for me the D-800 is working out like a mini Carbine without all the bulk and weight.

D800 is the backup to my main work horse Bergantino.
It's my goto for everything other than larger gigs, so it actually gets more use than the Berg.
Great amp.

Thank you, I did not add “variable” because I assumed the nature of the feature I was referring to was self evident to most Subway owners on this forum.

TT-800 (good stuff) and 800D (good, good stuff). Pair them with a Subway 210 and 115.

If ever my main amp fails, I might get this pre/DI and feed a Yamaha pro amp. Versatility and peace of mind !

As a subway-curious reader of this forum, can someone summarize what makes these amps different? I didn't find an easy to digest summary at mesa's site. I'd love to have a starting point for doing my looking around.
