they're both on my gas list, i don't think you can go wrong with either. I think if i can get the cash together I'll get the rockbass this year. I'm a big guy with huge hands and unlike most people i can't stand a super thin neck.

I do own a Warwick, its an older German Fortress I five string. I love it, butttttt I got to tell you that Spector is really nice to.
I know these decisions are hard, but whatever you choose its going to be awesome no matter what you pick. So no matter what, it's a win win situation

Um, hoping to get a used German Corvette standard. But as time goes by, I'm seriously gassing for stuff and feel very unsure of myself. Definitely going to try for that used though.
I know the feeling. I've flipped so many basses over the years. Even one of my 1st, was a RIC 4003 that I saved forever for, and is now gone. It really takes some trial and error to figure out what fits you and the tone you want. The problem is, there are so many choices.
So one of my favorite new basses is a P.....but I love the Jazz to. I don't like to make recommendations on what someone should buy, but these two might be something to consider. They're kind of the standard of the industry and it's hard to go wrong.

Metal head here. Listened since mid eighties. While everyone else was listening to hair metal crap like warrant and Bon Jovi I was more interested in slayer suicidal tendencies seputura and the like
First metal show was Pantera with morbid angel and soulfly opening. We were so close to the sound board guy and everyone else in our section was so lame (sitting shag. At a Pantera concert) that the band stopped the show pointed at us and told the audience that's what a real Pantera fan rocks like. Followed up with backstage passes

Hell yeah! Friends of mine saw them on the Cowboys From Hell tour and they were by themselves, with local acts opening. They played at The Alrosa Villa - wierd to think how that place would factor in to their future.... - and there were only about 75 people there. The place could hold about 900 packed. We had a "private concert", and it was awesome. they played their first set, and then started taking requests, (older metal stuff; Phil played drums on War Pigs and Vinny sang...) bantering with us etc.
The even cooler thing was that since my band played the Alrosa frequently, we knew all of the security there. They told us to arrive around 4 that day and we could meet the band. they were literally traveling in 2 vans...beat up "road worn" vans. It was very cool. WE helped them load in and set up. After that, they wanted to get food etc, so half of the band headed to OSU's campus to find pot and food, and Vinny, Rex, and the half of the crew that didn't want to go to campus just walked to the Deny's that was down the road. Since I am Straight Edge, I went with that group. We all sat in Denny's for about 2 hours and talked and ate. Vinny could put the food in at the time! Rex was cool and pretty quiet. There group kept asking us how we lived in 10 degree temperatures all the time. They couldn't believe how cold it was
Probably the coolest night of my life as far as band hangs go. This was all right before Cemetery Gates started getting airplay so they were still young and "starry-eyed" to a point.

Black Sabbath are doing their final concert in the U.S.A. tonight at Madison Square Garden.
Yep true, I remember all them.
Not that I know him but Billy Duffy grew up about 10 mins from where I did, so I feel a little loyalty.
They are playing some good music though and the latest album has some good tracks, although Ian has lost his high voice he's moulded it well
