Microtubes X

What I like the most, and what sets this pedal apart from the rest of our lineup is how immune it seems to be to old strings.

Hmm - Doug, while we got you here, I have a question. I have a VMT, and it's... a bit too middy/not enough bite to my ears. The B3K (at least the original ones) were not middy enough/too much bite for my tastes. Are any of your recent offerings likely to be my "just right/goldilocks" pedal?

You'll probably like the Alpha Omega.

Yay i can now buy a Darkglass pedal to replace my Vulcan XL and stop feeling guilty! The low cut on the distortion side of the vulcan is way handier than the grunt bump in DG preamp pedals imo. Lets the harmonic character and clarity shine through while blending in a nice punchy clean side with it. The X7 will achieve this application and result in spades.

This looks to be in direct competition with the dUG King’s X pedal.

I just thought "X" was an easy name to choose for crossover. I didn't catch the Microtubes X, King's X coincidence until you pointed it out lol... Haven't tried the X but the DP-3X is hard to beat without actually bi-amping rigs. Looks like bassists have some good crossover options in pedal form now
