Thanks guys. Oscar is the best friend any man could ever have. I'm not sure why he chose to dig in to the hoffy case after years of hangin around other gear. I think he was just bored, and maybe smelled something on the case. He's worth every penny of damage he caused to the case. I'm not upset at him. Just should have put the case in the closet.

Maybe he's saying "Dad, you've been spending too much time on TB and too little time opening this case up and playing, so I'm going to remind you it's here"

(That's what mine would be saying, anyway...)

Just be thankful it was only the case. The case is there to take the knocks for your instrument when you're not playing it.

I have a matching case for a Yamaha archtop guitar, courtesy of my charming little Casey, if you're interested. In her defense, she was just a puppy at the time. The guitar is fine, life goes on .... it's part of having dogs.
