Might Kill My Dog Today....

It sounds crazy -- and please post some vid if you follow through -- but I have been told to beat the ITEM that you don't want a dog to touch. Apparently, beating the dog doesn't help so much; but somehow in their mind, they see Alpha beating on the bad-thing and don't want to touch it.

Again, please post vids of you beating the sweet bejeebus out of your case. It's Wednesday, and I could use a good laugh!

I can feel your pain - it took me several years to find one of these cases for my Club bass.

However, I think he was HELPING you - he may have been going after termites in the case!

Just FYI - I do dog owner counseling, and in general, the only reason dogs chew things is because they are bored (unless they are small puppies). When they are properly exercised, this doesn't happen. A vigorous breed like you have needs 1-2 hours of walking a day - NOT running in a yard or chasing a ball. If you don't have time, get a dog walker - it will help! If you can't do that, then send me the doggie!

Man, that sucks.

Years ago when I was a little leaguer, my dog used to love chewing on my baseball glove. I was playing a game as 1st baseman the next day after wrestling my glove away from him. The very first play of the game I'm at first, and a guy hits a grounder to the shortshop. He fires the ball over to me and the ball went straight through my glove webbing and hit me square in the nose behind it, knocking me to the ground with a gushing bloody nose. The dog had apparently eaten the laces holding the webbing to the glove.

I kicked him in his little heinie when I got home.

I once got up in the middle of the night to find my dog, Sadie, had got into some window cleaner and had diarrhea all over the carpet. Consider yourself lucky.

I was tempted to kill her but didn't. I did have to have her put down a couple of months later because of an inoperable tumor. I'd clean the carpet again to have her back. I only had her for about 4 months but I really miss her sometimes.
