Might Kill My Dog Today....

When I was 18 my dog chewed the neck of my jazz bass copy- that I bought from Jimmy Hendricks! (Spelling is correct on that name.) Messed up the back of the neck a bit and scratched the front covering a few frets. I was a little hot, but I loved that puppy! I always put stuff up where dogs cannot get to it. My current dog does not chew stuff up, but I still do it out of habit.

I had an ESP Custom Shop Explorer eaten by two Bernese Mountain dog puppies at my brother's house once. Completely, utterly destroyed the instrument. He was pretty lucky neither of the dopes ate a fret and ended up in the hospital.

Well, he certainly looks happy in the last pic from a 'job well done'. My little 1yo monkey went thru a phase of chewing insulation and she got to my nicely broken in studio headphones. I WAS upset but mostly with myself - at least they still work.

Guess I got lucky.
Had a $39 sale case(for Fender-sized basses) get chewed like that.
It's got black duct tape on the wounds and I'm waiting on another sale.
No plinking the dog at the creek.
